Acting and Musical Theatre Teacher Hunterdon Academy of the Arts 3 Minneakoning Road, Flemington, NJ 08822 About us Hunterdon Academy of the Arts is the largest performing arts school in New Jersey’s Hunterdon County. The six-time winner of the Hunterdon Happening Competition (“Best Music School” Award), HAA is located in Flemington, offering , music, musical theatre and acting instruction. Catering to students ages 7 to 17, our comprehensive Theatre Arts programs focus on teaching fundamental skills as well as a stage productions of musicals and plays.

Responsibilities:

• Teach foundational Theatre Arts classes

Skills:

• Strong skills in Acting, Musical Theatre, and Movement/Dance
• Good Singing skils
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Classroom management skills to maintain discipline and create a productive learning environment

Compensation :

Commensurate with professional experience. The average hourly rate for group instruction is c. $40. Optional Skills. These are not required but help in expanding teaching responsibilities and hours:

• Ability to Teach Private Voice Lessons
