ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES A
driving instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile. You will be teaching students in-car-behind the wheel training, Students should be picked-up and dropped off in a timely manner, lesson should be conducted in a safe learning environment, Instructor must notify the school if there are any incidents/accidents immediately, instructor is responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of their student driver cars.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma
PREFERRED SKILLS
Your primary task as a driving instructor is to demonstrate how to safely operate a motor vehicle. You must teach students about driving laws and driving courtesy. You also explain how a car operates, how to perform safety checks and what to do in case of an emergency. After the classroom instruction, you accompany your students as they apply that knowledge behind the wheel of a vehicle. You might work one-on-one with students or in a small group setting.
