$14-$19/hour (contractor position) We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Driving Instructor (Contractor) to join our team and help new drivers gain the skills and confidence they need to be safe on the road. If you’re passionate about teaching and enjoy being on the move, this flexible, travel-friendly opportunity might be perfect for you. About the
Role:
You’ll work as an independent contractor, paid $14-$19/hour for all lessons completed. Lessons include pickup and drop-off at students’ homes . Expect multiple jobs per day across Gainesville and nearby cities. Jobs are in 1-4 hour sessions each time. Travel time is paid for jobs located an hour or more from Gainesville (based on Google Maps travel estimates). Additional travel opportunities available every other month (or more if desired) to regions like the Florida Panhandle or the
Florida Keys :
During these 3-10 day assignments , you’ll be paid your hourly rate for lesson time and for travel time (as calculated by Google Maps). Lodging (Airbnb or hotel) will be provided for the duration of the assignment.
What We’re Looking For:
A valid driving instructor license or the qualifications to obtain one A clean driving record Previous experience teaching others to drive is strongly preferred Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor Willingness to travel locally and occasionally statewide
