Job Description:

We are seeking a Certified Commercial Driving Instructor in the state of Georgia to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience operating commercial motor vehicles. You will be responsible for instructing students in both the classroom and behind the wheel, ensuring they meet FMCSA requirements and are prepared for a successful career in trucking.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in both classroom and behind-the-wheel training sessions
• Teach proper vehicle operation, pre-trip inspections, safety procedures, and FMCSA regulations
• Provide hands-on instruction in shifting, backing, turning, and on-road driving
• Evaluate and document student progress
• Ensure compliance with DOT and state regulations
• Maintain a positive and professional learning environment
• Conduct mock CDL testing and assist students in preparing for their CDL exams

Requirements:

• Active CDL-A license with a clean MVR
• Certified Commercial Driving Instructor in Georgia
• Minimum 5 years of commercial driving experience
• Strong communication and instructional skills
• Patience and ability to work with students of all skill levels
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Teaching or training experience preferred but not required
• MUST be able to work nights/Saturday
