6th St, West Monroe, LA 71291 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching individuals how to drive safely and effectively, ensuring they understand the rules of the road and develop the necessary skills to become confident drivers. This role requires excellent communication skills, patience, and a passion for educating others. Responsibilities Conduct driving lessons in a safe and controlled environment, both in-classroom and behind the wheel. Educate students on traffic laws, defensive driving techniques, and safe driving practices. Develop lesson plans that cater to the varying needs of students, ensuring effective learning outcomes. Manage classroom activities effectively, maintaining an engaging and productive learning environment. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their driving skills. Ensure all instructional materials are up-to-date and relevant to current driving regulations. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance. Skills Strong ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to students of all ages. Experience in adult education or teaching individuals with varying levels of experience is preferred. Proficient in classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere. Ability to drive safely and demonstrate driving techniques confidently. Experience working with students in a classroom setting is highly desirable. Patience and adaptability to meet the diverse learning styles of students. Requirements Be at least 21 years of age Have had a valid driver’s license for at least 5 years and have or be willing to acquire a Class D chauffeur license Must be able to pass a criminal (FBI) background check Must love working with teens/adults Willing to go through training and meet all state requirements Join our team as a Driving Instructor where you can make a difference in the lives of new drivers while promoting road safety!
