Executive Circle, Cary, NC 27511 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Driving Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating new drivers on safe driving practices and traffic laws behind the wheel. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential in fostering a positive learning environment. Responsibilities Provide behind-the-wheel training to students, guiding them through practical driving exercises. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving skills. Develop lesson plans that cater to various learning styles and adapt teaching methods as needed. Maintain accurate records of student progress. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding instructional goals and progress. Qualifications Employee must complete a state-approved 80 hour driving instructor certification course Tuition for the certification course must be paid out of pocket by the employee & the employee will be reimbursed the full cost after 90 days of active employment. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Candidate must be reliable & act honestly and ethically in all situations Pass a criminal background check Have a high school diploma or GED Proven experience in driving instruction or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate students. Experience in adult education or working with diverse groups of learners is a plus. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining student engagement. Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices is essential. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching are key attributes for success in this role.

Availability:

Must be available during the following times: Monday – Friday 2p-8p ; Some Weekend availability – 8a-4p
