In this role, you will be responsible for educating students on safe driving practices and ensuring they develop the skills necessary to become confident and responsible drivers. You will engage with students in both classroom settings and behind the wheel, providing them with the knowledge and experience needed to pass their driving tests. Duties Provide hands-on driving instruction in various conditions to enhance students’ practical skills. Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Communicate effectively with students regarding progress, challenges, and next steps in their driving education. Qualifications Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students. A valid driver’s NY license ( minimum 2 years) with a clean / acceptable driving record is required ; Out of state license abstract of driving required required GED or high school diploma Patience is a virtue ; a passion for educating others and helping them achieve their goals in becoming safe drivers.
