Ropes Course Instructor Young Judaea Sprout Westchester Day Camp 500 Yorktown Road, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Ropes Course Instructor to join our team. You will get trained and certified to become an instructor and will work from June 30th to August 22nd, with July 4th off. Staff training will occur the week prior to camp starting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in their subject area, fostering an engaging learning environment, and supporting campers. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives. Succesfully complete the Ropes Course training to become certified. Foster a positive environment that encourages respect, inclusivity, and open communication among campers. Experience MUST be at least 18 years old. Previous teaching experience in a relevant subject area is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with campers of varying backgrounds. A commitment to continuous improvement in teaching practices and a passion for helping campers succeed.
