The Military Science Department at the University of North Georgia is seeking applications for a part-time faculty position in the Military Science Department beginning August 2025. The National Service Leadership Track is an academic program in the Corps of Cadets that provides leadership development, resume-building, career exploration, and job opportunities for non-commissioning Cadets at the University of North Georgia. NSLT courses are designed to prepare Cadets for leadership roles in government, global entities, non-profit, and the corporate environment. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
The part-time faculty member will instruct a junior level course in the National Service Leadership Track (NSLT). Duties involve classroom instruction of one or two 3-hour courses per fall and spring semester of leadership development, office hours on campus, and counseling of Cadets on administrative actions.
Master’s degree is required.
