Academic Job Description:
Responsibilities will be comprised of approximately 75% teaching and 25% student advising and recruiting. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and teaching of six undergraduate courses per year covering a range of areas within the field of agricultural economics and agribusiness, including introductory agricultural economics, agribusiness management, commodity and food marketing, and other related subject areas. The successful candidate will assist with undergraduate student advising and recruiting, assist with the undergraduate internship program, and provide leadership in student activities, clubs and organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, or related field. Previous undergraduate teaching experience preferred.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary commensurate with training, experience, and ability. Insurance, medical and related fringe benefits are available as part of the benefits package.
