$238K – $335K a year 15 hours ago Qualifications Clinical research BC/BE Senior level Teaching Full Job Description Seeking full-time clinician educator in nephrology The Division of Hypertension and Kidney Diseases of Brown Medicine is looking for a board certified/board eligible nephrologist with a strong interest in expanding our clinical research program to join our group of academic nephrologists in 2025. The successful applicant will join our Division as a full-time clinician with academic activities including teaching responsibilities and clinical research activities. Experience in performing and teaching native and transplant kidney biopsies as well as point-of-care ultrasound would be a plus. The position, a full-time clinical one on the clinician educator track at Brown University, involves rounding on the inpatient services, working with and mentoring Brown renal fellows, internal medicine residents and medical students in clinical and research activity. We serve a diverse patient population ranging from all over Southern New England, including patients from underserved areas. We serve uninsured and underinsured patients as part of our mission. The clinician educator track includes opportunities to teach at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University in the renal pathophysiology course as a lecturer and small group leader. Faculty on the clinician educator track engage in scholarly opportunities in medical education as well as their own research and publication efforts.
