POSITION TITLE
Instructional Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid teaching certificate Master’s Degree in Administration (minimum)
REPORTS TO
Superintendent or Superintendent’s designee
SUPERVISES
Assigned personnel
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision, scheduling, and training for Instructional Coaches Plan, implement, and evaluate the county in-service/professional development plan. Teacher evaluation and support to ensure high quality classroom instruction Prepare and administer budgets for assigned programs. Complete evaluations and reports for assigned programs. Interpret and support the policies established by local, state and federal guidelines and laws. Implement all local, state and federal mandates. Trained or will be trained in the personnel evaluation system adopted by the Board of Education. Serve as a resource person in the areas of assigned responsibilities. Provide information on the status of the areas assigned as required by local, state and federal policies. To perform any other position related duties as assigned by the Superintendent. Maintain the confidentiality of student and employee records.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and work year to be according to the current Board approved salary schedule.
EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually with provisions of the Board’s adopted evaluation policy for professional personnel.
