JOB GOAL
To assist the After-School Site Coordinator and Teachers in daily student activities and supervision of students. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other after-school staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience in early childhood education is preferred; but not required.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide day-to-day hands on assistance and supervision of students. Assist after-school teachers with implementing activities and instruction in accordance with program schedule. Punctuality, flexibility and regular attendance. Engage and assist students as needed to support daytime instruction and homework. Maintain an orderly, safe and clean environment for the after-school students. Assist the Site Coordinator and teachers as directed. Assist with daily afternoon after-school snack, clean up and meet required guidelines and reporting set forth by smart snack standards. Follow board policies and procedures set forth by Scottsboro City Schools Board of Education. Follow Scottsboro City Schools Code of Conduct with respect to student disciplinary procedures. Maintain confidentiality requirements as outlined in board policy and employee handbook. Participate and complete any required trainings. Cooperates and collaborates with program staff to create and maintain a harmonious and efficient environment. Attend after school staff meetings as designated. Punctuality, flexibility and regular attendance. Perform any other duties as assigned.
