This role will focus on elevating the department’s presence through strategic use of technology, sports media, and broadcasting. The successful candidate will collaborate with coaches, student-athletes, and the broader school community to enhance communication, game-day experiences, and digital engagement. The ideal candidate will also assist with daily duties and responsibilities in the athletic office as directed by the athletic director. Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.

Experience in high school, collegiate, or professional athletics, with media or technology emphasis. Experience with sports broadcasting, AV systems, social media marketing, and website content management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(include but not limited to) : Manage and update the athletic department website, athletics app, schedules, social media, and digital platforms. Coordinate with IT and facilities to ensure reliable technology infrastructure for streaming, scoring, and communication. Implement systems for digital ticketing, live scoring, and score reporting. Lead live broadcasting of athletic events, including setup of cameras, graphics, commentary, and post-game uploads. Supervise and mentor student broadcasting/media teams and provide training in production and journalism. Coordinate with local media outlets and streaming partners for expanded event coverage.

Produce engaging content including:

highlight videos, athlete interviews, and behind-the-scenes features. Create graphics and promotional materials for digital and print use. Oversee branding consistency across athletic materials, uniforms, and facilities. Assist in event operations, scheduling, ticketing, and facility use. Support the Athletic Director in compliance, eligibility tracking, and league/association reporting. Help manage the sales of spirit packs, facility rentals, and athlete payments thru School Shares. Maintain strong relationships with coaches, families, and the school’s administration to foster school spirit and sportsmanship. Create a database of alumni contacts to involve and include in school events and functions. Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Athletic Director or his designee.
