Full Job Description Federal Programs Coordinator Summary:

To manage all Federal Programs in accordance in federal / state guidelines and school policies. Major areas of responsibility are planning, implementing, evaluating and reporting on Title I, II, III, IV and IX programs. To serve as testing coordinator for district. To serve as district truancy officer.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree from an accredited university or college. Valid Alabama certificate in Educational Leadership, administration, and/or supervision. Minimum of three (3) years successful administrator experience. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may require Reports to: Superintendent and/or her designee.

Job Duties:

Demonstrates support for the school system and its vision, goals and priorities. Directs the implementation of Board policies, State and Federal Laws and guidelines. Assists with the preparation of the system federal funds budget. Explores the possibilities for education grants, entitlements, and allocations offered relevant to the needs of the district. Works with designated committees of teachers, principals, and laypersons in specific programs or projects related to federal programs. Performs the duties necessary to fulfill the requirements for application for Federal Funds. Evaluates all requests for projects and programs requiring Federal funds. Systematically evaluates federally funded projects in the school system. Compiles and maintains written records of all Federal services and disseminates this information to the appropriate agency. Prepares and administers budgets for the department. Directs the Homeless Education and English Learner Program. Oversees the Implementations and evaluations of the Early Warning and Attendance Programs/Policy for CCSS. Oversees the assessment program for the district. Any other duties assigned by superintendent and/or her designee.

Salary:

Salary shall be set according to the placement on the salary schedule.
