Summary of Job Duties:
Workstudy students work 20 hours per week in the School of Social Work. Regular and
reliable attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain
collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This position is governed by
state and federal laws and agency policy.
Qualifications:
Required Education and or Experience Current UA Little Rock undergraduate student; Workstudy Award Letter from Financial Aid. PreferredEducation and or Experience Experience working in an office setting. Job Duties Workstudy students perform a variety of duties, some of which include: Perform office support tasks such as answering phones; Filing, making copies and scanning, and shredding; Data entry; Running errands, and pick up mail from the campus Mailroom and distribute it; Answers phone calls, responds to questions, and refers to others; Respond to walk-ins and direct them to the appropriate area; Set up advising sheets for both MSW and BSW; Assist with registration issues; Keep office areas organized and neat; Other duties as assigned. Knowledge Data entry; Knowledge and use of office equipment. Skills Strong oral and written communication skills; General technology skills; Interpersonal skills; Organizational skills; Time management skills. Abilities Ability to work independently; Ability to problem-solve; Ability to follow directions and incorporate feedback; Ability to learn and use phone system; Ability to use Microsoft Word, Google sheets, and docs.
