Summary of Job Duties:
The Work-Study/ Conference Services Front Desk in the operations role will work with a variety of staff and students in the UALR Conference Services. The position is vital to the success of everyday operations at the Donaghey Student Center. The assistant will gain a large amount of knowledge in understanding daily operations, programming, and event planning of a large university student center. It offers the opportunity to grow as a student and professional. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or
Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or GED;
Must have proof of work-study award.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Arrange tables/chairs for meetings and events as requested by facility guests;
Assist facility guests in the use of IT equipment;
Facility cleaning, organizing, and storing conference equipment;
Other duties as assigned.

Be a responsible and dependable person;
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills;
Be self-motivated, and customer-service oriented;
Be able to work independently and as a part of a productive team;
Be flexible and willing to pitch in when and where they are needed;
