We seek to cultivate an environment where students can grow in their faith while pursuing excellence in all areas, including athletics. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and mission-driven Athletic Director to lead and oversee our school’s athletic program.

Position Summary:

The Athletic Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of the athletic programs at Seacoast Christian Academy. The ideal candidate will lead with integrity, support student-athletes in their growth as Christian leaders, and ensure that our athletic offerings align with the mission and values of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all athletic programs, teams, coaches, and events. Recruit, hire, supervise, and support coaches while ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and Christian values. Develop and manage the athletic budget, including equipment, uniforms, facilities, and transportation. Schedule games, practices, referees, and transportation for all sports teams. Ensure compliance with league regulations, safety protocols, and eligibility requirements. Responsible for teaching the P.E. classes at the school up to and including K-12 Foster a positive athletic culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and character development. Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff, and league officials. Promote athletic events and achievements within the school and the broader community. Serve as a visible leader at athletic events, modeling Christian character and leadership. Support and contribute to the overall mission and spiritual life of the school.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred Prior experience in athletic administration, coaching, or related leadership roles, preferably in a Christian or private school setting. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and balance administrative duties with on-site presence at athletic events. A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and the ability to integrate faith into leadership and decision-making.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working in a small school environment. Ability to coach one or more sports as needed. Familiarity with league regulations and event planning. CPR and First Aid certified
