Position Summary:

The Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance & Program Development ensures that the athletic department operates with integrity, adheres to all governing body regulations, and continues to grow in alignment with the school’s mission and core values. This role manages compliance systems, supports coach and team development, and drives strategic initiatives around leadership, recognition, and communication. The Assistant AD serves as a key resource for coaches, athletes, and parents, and reports directly to the Athletic Director. This is a full time 12 month position. Primary Responsibilities Serve as the school’s liaison to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) and manage all compliance tasks through the HomeCampus platform . Ensure timely submission of rosters, contracts, and playoff documentation. Monitor and ensure all coaches are compliant with FHSAA and school-specific certification requirements (CPR, First Aid, NFHS Learn, background checks, etc.). Maintain a certification database and alert coaches of upcoming expirations or new requirements. Provide onboarding support for new coaches related to compliance. Coordinate and schedule ongoing professional development opportunities for athletic staff. Identify key clinics, certifications, and leadership development experiences to grow coaching competencies. Track participation and promote a culture of learning and improvement. Promote initiatives led by

FHSAA , FACA

(Florida Athletic Coaches Association) , and FIAA . Support the athletic director in conducting seasonal and annual evaluations of coaches. Create evaluation tools tied to department goals, core values, and athlete development. Provide meaningful feedback to help coaches grow and improve. Lead programs and campaigns that bring the athletic department’s core values (e.g., Excellence, Accountability, Growth, Leadership, Education, Sportsmanship) to life. Integrate core values into daily operations, communications, and celebrations. Track performance and academic eligibility for nominations. Serve as the Athletic Administrator for games and events Serve as the main administrative point of contact for the Softball program. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in sports administration, education, or related field 2+ years of experience in athletics compliance/administration, sport program development, or coaching Familiarity with FHSAA and HomeCampus Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
