Job Summary The OPS Office Assistant assists with the day-to-day organizational operations of the Bower School of Music to fulfill the administrative responsibilities of the department. Job Description Typical duties include but not limited to: Processing various departmental forms and classroom use charts Creating event programs including junior/senior student recitals and Nisita Series concert programs Assisting with data collection for HEAD’s Report for NASM accreditation and organizing of all student files for accreditation purposes Collecting paperwork for Independent Contractor processing Collecting, preparing, and checking reimbursement documents from faculty, students, and the director Collecting and checking travel reimbursement forms for faculty & students Organizing and ordering of all supplies Assisting with ASCAP and copy right organizations program requirements Assist with day-to-day operations of the
Bower School of Music Other Duties:
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by full time administrative staff and/or the director.
Additional Job Description Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered. Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization. Work experience in a higher education setting. Experience with Ellucian Banner, Cognos, and Gulfline.
