School Board Overview :

Citi Christian Academy (CCA) is seeking a dynamic, Christ-centered leader to serve as Principal. This individual will carry out the vision and values of CCA while partnering closely with the Head of School and an engaged School Board. The Principal will lead with strength, humility, and a collaborative spirit—stewarding the daily operations, academic excellence, and spiritual formation of the school while fostering a culture of joy, respect, discipline, and faith. The ideal candidate is both visionary and grounded, confident yet collaborative, and capable of managing a wide range of responsibilities. They will lead from the heart of our mission and values while having the freedom and initiative to lead proactively rather than waiting for direction. This is a role for a servant-leader committed to raising up students and staff to reach their God-given potential.

Qualifications :

A committed follower of Jesus Christ, actively involved in the life and ministry of a local Church Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related discipline Minimum of 2 years in school leadership or administrative experience (Assistant Principal, Dean, etc.); Principal-level or Christian school leadership experience preferred At least 3-5 years of teaching experience in a Christian school environment (preferred) Familiarity with school accreditation processes and Christian education philosophy Demonstrated ability to lead through vision, biblical values, and clear communication Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, encourage, and hold others accountable A proactive problem-solver who seeks out solutions and builds consensus Open to feedback and growth-oriented in leadership and spiritual life Strategic thinker who sees the big picture while attending to daily details Committed to lifelong learning for themselves, staff, and students Unwavering alignment with CCA’s mission, vision, and values

Key Responsibilities:

Spiritual & Personal Leadership Maintain a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and actively engage in church life Lead the school community spiritually through prayer, modeling, and encouragement Pursue ongoing leadership and educational development Build relationships with educational leaders and institutions to expand school opportunities Faculty & Staff Leadership Hire, develop, and evaluate faculty and staff in partnership with the Hiring Team and Board Provide regular feedback, mentorship, and professional development Cultivate a unified team culture centered on biblical principles and educational excellence Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate effectively via Slack and other tools Manage personnel issues with grace, clarity, and documentation in collaboration with the Board Administration & Operations Lead daily operations with excellence, efficiency, care and in line with the Core Values Hire and manage administrative staff with input and consent from the Board Conduct performance reviews and support growth across all departments Collaborate in policy development, strategic planning, and execution Ensure compliance with CCA’s Administrative Calendar and operational benchmarks Serve as a liaison between school leadership and the Board, including attending Board meetings Communication & Community Engagement Oversee internal and external communication, including website and public messaging Promote the school through tours, outreach, and partnership-building Collaborate in marketing and admission strategies Curriculum & Academic Oversight Support curriculum alignment, updates, and implementation with fidelity Partner with teachers to ensure academic excellence and readiness for next levels Lead scheduling, testing coordination, and scope & sequence development Assist with accreditation processes Discipline & Culture Enforce discipline policies in a redemptive, Christ-like manner Foster a culture of respect, responsibility, and reconciliation Consult with the Board on major discipline actions outside of the handbook Additional Leadership Responsibilities Support weekly chapel services Oversee traffic flow and safety procedures Provide spiritual and academic support and guidance for students and families Participate in fundraising efforts and special events Carry out other duties as assigned by the
