Job Description:
The Coordinator, Raider Life is directly accountable to the Executive Director, K-12 Programs and Student Engagement for the following duties and responsibilities: Leads the Raider Life department & related initiatives.
Ensures robust co-curricular program offerings that support community-building, wellness, and student success; maintains a campus environment that is cordial, fun, responsive to student issues, and promotes diversity and inclusion.
Implements and facilitates educational and developmental workshops that foster student leadership and professionalism
Serves as the Student Advisory Board (SAB) Advisor and travels with students as needed.
Serve as co-advisor of the NWFSC RaiderRep student ambassador program; co-coordinate the competitive selection of students, as well as RaiderRep participation in special events and activities, campus tours, and recruitment efforts.
Ensures advisor(s) is identified for all active student clubs and organizations.
Provides administrative support to all student club and organization activities and initiatives.
Plans and coordinates campus-wide signature campus events such as Fall Fest, Spring Fling, parades, Student Honors and Award Ceremony, and others as requested.
Stays abreast of campus services, programs, resources, and other opportunities to aid in the retention of all students.
Directs students to resources, policies, and procedures to address personal or academic concerns.
Responsible for budget management, assessment, and student handbook development.
Train and advise student leaders and advisors on budget management and planning, recruitment and retention of members, and other aspects of effective organizational management.
Send regular communication to students through social media, email, and other appropriate means; maintain the Raider Life website.
Serves as the Ombudsman for the College
Assists and supports programming hosted by departments within Student Success, particularly the K-12 Programs team as directed.
Complete annual mandatory compliance training.
Perform other duties as assigned. Benefits Health insurance for employee and dependent coverage available.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with four to six years of relevant experience required.
Ability to work evening and weekend hours with travel in-state, out-of-state, and occasionally overnight.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required; experience with CRMs and student databases, especially Banner, preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated excellence in customer service/relations.
