This comprehensive support role will require a significant amount of time committed to interaction with students, parents, faculty, staff, volunteers and visitors. This position requires organizational and task-oriented skills and will need to ensure effective internal and external communications and provide for a well-organized school environment.
Description Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Principal in a variety of programming and administrative tasks Work with the Principal on any necessary corrections/adjustments to Carver Christian Academy’s programming to meet goals and objectives Manage Principal’s and office phone calls, meetings and emails Support Principal in completing and maintaining all compliance and licensure related tasks and documentation Act as Liaison between CCA and other UYI departments Oversees the creation and maintenance of the school calendar Oversees and processes all student records including report cards, progress reports and any academic related reporting Monitor and manage all literacy
- related data, data entry (STAR, etc.
) Oversees Step U/EMA for the school including portal, communication to Step Up and parents, tasks and any other Step Up/EMA related duties required Completes and submits Principal’s expense report and any other CCA related expense reporting tasks Performs and oversees CCA financial duties that include school purchase orders. The Assistant will maintain and oversee teach spending and budget compliance Oversee School Management System (Jupiter Ed). Prepares and organizes all meetings called by the Principal, including weekly school meetings Oversees and submits school work orders Maintains constant confidentiality of all student and personnel information Oversees school office supplies and office equipment including copier, radios, computers and software Perform administrative tasks pertaining to Carver Christian Academy including scheduling, communication, etc. Assist the Programs Administrator during recruitment and enrollment months (March-August) with processing, applications, enrollment, Step Up, etc. Attend program-related meetings/conferences/workshops. Performs other duties as assigned by the
