K ASSISTANT DIRECTOR – TEWKSBURY, MA
AlphaBEST Education, Inc. is looking for a Assistant Director to join our team in the Tewksbury, Massachusetts Public School District . This is a part-time position (2-30 hours per week) offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children. As a Director 1 Certified Assistant Director you will provide leadership, supervision, and coordination of the program. You’ll collaborate with school staff, parents, and your team to deliver exceptional learning experiences through our high-quality curriculum. Required Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a minimum of Director 1 certification as defined by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with children, families, and colleagues. Proven sound judgment and effective decision-making abilities. Must successfully pass and maintain compliance with all required criminal background checks. Familiarity with state childcare regulations, including EEC policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, family-oriented environment that fosters positive relationships among staff, children, and parents. Supervise, train, and motivate before and after-school staff, ensuring effective leadership and teamwork. Cultivate strong, open communication with parents and school administration to build lasting relationships. Organize and manage the school site to provide a fun, engaging, and enriching learning environment. Offer guidance and constructive feedback to team members, helping them enhance their skills and meet both individual and team objectives. Oversee a weekly control system, including tracking bills and payments to ensure financial accuracy.
