Job Description
Dover-Sherborn High School is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Principal to begin on August 18, 2025. This is a full-time, 10-month student and community-facing position.
Candidates must be organized and have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Candidates must be proficient with Google Suite (docs, sheets, calendar, classroom, forms, slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Aspen student management system experience is preferred but not required. School-based office experience is preferred but not required.
The Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Principal will assist with the daily management of the front office, including: greeting and assisting students, staff and community members, answering incoming and internal calls, managing building security, communicating with students, families and staff as needed.
Responsibilities include:
daily attendance management and record keeping (absences, tardies, dismissals, excessive and behavioral infraction tracking), substitute teacher coordination/coverage assignments, MCAS and 504 preparation and organizational support, collection of fees and financial recording for student activities and parking, general office supply ordering and maintenance. Other administrative tasks may be required to assist the Assistant Principal and front office personnel.
