Administrative Assistant to Principal 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars Dover, MA 02030 Dover-Sherborn High School is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Principal with a start date TBD. This is a full-time student and community-facing position working 10-months plus summer hours as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide administrative support to the Principal and Front OfficeMeet and greet students, parents, and visitorsAnswer phones and respond to security monitors for business accessMaintain the Principals calendar, schedule observations, and goal meetingsSchedule appointments and coordinate arrangements for meetingsReport regularly to the Principal of any developments or problems requiring their attentionGenerate and manage purchase orders for Department Heads and the Principal.
Upload pictures, announcements, and schedules on TV monitors for students and facultyManage and Coordinate GraduationManage and Coordinate the Open HouseManage and support the organization of the Seminar Day (biannual)Prepare payroll for high school staff, including custodians and grounds crewMaintain attendance database for high school staff, including custodians and grounds crewGenerate and maintain the Faculty HandbookGenerate and maintain the Student HandbookGenerate and maintain the high school section of the Annual Town ReportCollect and input yearly budget requests from Department Heads Compile and submit extra compensatory assignments for the School CommitteeCoordinate and publish a biweekly newsletter to parents/guardians through ParentSquareManage and order faculty and main office suppliesFacilitate check reimbursements and deposits with Manage Building Usage Forms for Booking SpacesOrganize and process the distribution of mail with various building assistantsProcess student, parent, and staff requests along with emergencies as they arisePerforms other duties as assigned by the PrincipalAs part of the Dover-Sherborn Educators Association contract, new teachers are required to complete a course related to diversity, equity, and inclusion within their first 3 years of employment.
