Job Description
The Wareham Public Schools invites outstanding education leaders to apply for the principalship. Current grade configuration is Grades PreK-4 with 946 students. This is a twelve-month position with an effective start date to be determined with a three-year contract.
The Elementary School Principal serves as the instructional and administrative leader of the school, responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students in grades PreK-4. This role includes overseeing academic programs, managing faculty and staff, ensuring compliance with district policies, fostering communication with parents and the community, and promoting student success. The principal collaborates with teachers to improve instructional practices, addresses student behavioral and academic needs, and leads school improvement initiatives. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
