$40.9K – $51.1K a year 2 days ago Qualifications Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft Publisher Mid-level High school diploma or GED Qualtrics Bachelor’s degree Organizational skills 2 years Communication skills Full Job Description The School of Physical Therapy seeks an Academic Assistant to support the faculty and the Program Director of the program with academic support for curricular and/or schools, including research and database management and preparations for examinations (using ExamSoft, Scantron device or other software). The Academic Assistant also provides support to the programs in the planning and execution of School, program, curriculum, committee, clinic, and service-related work, as well as support faculty scholarly work. Develops and manages school databases including data entry and production of reports. Prepares and processes tests, surveys, and other forms of school evaluations, including data analysis, using Qualtrics, ExamSoft, and other programs. Assists with training faculty and other staff on new processes (ie ExamSoft, Qualtrics), and troubleshooting ExamSoft issues. Records and prepares typed reports, meeting minutes, memorandums, correspondence from the school using appropriate writing levels, as needed Assist in the preparation of interim reports and self-studies for accreditation Assists with faculty scholarly activities, including preparation and submission of grant applications, data collection, extraction and other responsibilities as needed. Create and analyze any

survey data (Qualtrics) in a timely manner, with result summaries for review Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.

Required:
A minimum of a high school required; a bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an office and/or academic setting Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills Proficiency in Excel, Word, Publisher and PowerPoint. Proficiency with Zoom and MS Teams preferred. Ability to identify and solve problems, plan for job functions, and manage time independently Ability to be attentive to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work independently to research, define, and carry out projects Ability to learn new techniques, troubleshoot problems, and instruct others as needed
Physical Requirements:
Standing, sitting, manual dexterity, ability to move between offices and floors of buildings Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure Normal range of vision and hearing (with or without correction) Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
