$91.2K – $119K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Organizational skills Senior level Full Job Description The Clinton Elementary School is looking for a candidate to join our school community as a member of our administrative team as an Interim Assistant Principal. The Assistant Principal assists the Principal with the overall administration of the building. The ideal candidate will be highly qualified and knowledgeable in universal design for learning, implementing instructional practices and strategies to meet the needs of all students. The candidate must have strong organizational skills and be able to collaborate well with all members of the educational team. The candidate will be well versed in the complexities of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral and developmental needs of elementary level students.
DUTIES:
Supervises teachers and departments as assigned by the principal;Supervises the preparation of student schedules, and implementation of student/staff schedulesWorks with faculty in compiling the annual budget requests;Requisitions supplies, textbooks, and equipment; conducts inventories; maintains records;Assists in emergency planning and crisis response;Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body Coordinates substitute teacher coverage as needed;Participates as a member of the student study team, instructional leadership teamServes with parent, faculty, and student groups as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives;Evaluates staff as assigned by the PrincipalOther duties as required by the Principal.
