The district is located approximately twenty minutes from Maine’s largest city, Portland, along the northern reaches of picturesque Casco Bay. Our communities enjoy small-town charm and commerce, existing among iconic Maine rocky shoreline, deepwater harbor, tidal rivers, historic villages, rural farmland and forests. RSU 5 has six schools serving 2,018 students: Freeport High School, Freeport Middle School, Mast Landing School, Morse Street School, Durham Community School and Pownal Elementary School.

CONTRACT

The RSU 5 School Department is prepared to offer a multi-year contract with an attractive and regionally competitive compensation and benefit package, which is commensurate with experience and background. The district will reimburse reasonable travel and relocation expenses.
