Job Description

Administrative Specialist CL2 at University of Colorado in Orono, Maine, United States Job Description The Psychological Services Center (PSC) at the University of Maine is searching for a part-time administrative specialist, 30 hours per week. Specific hours are negotiable; however, most of the hours should be Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This is an in-person, on-site position. This position pays $18.86 per hour. The Administrative Specialist will perform a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of the daily operations of the Psychological Services Center. Duties include working closely with the faculty and graduate students, the department chair, the Director of Clinical Training, and the Director of the Psychological Services Center. The position reports to the Director of the Psychological Services Center.

Essential Duties:

+ Assisting in managing the Psychological Services Center, and in overseeing and ensuring the smooth functioning of all areas of coverage + Working closely with the PSC Director and student clinicians to monitor inventories, order supplies and equipment, and facilitate equipment maintenance. + Working closely with the Director of the Psychological Services Center and the graduate student Clinicians to monitor the flow of client appointments and assign clinical cases. + Working professionally and communicating effectively with all departmental constituents, including making and receiving calls and emails with students, visitors, the community, referral sources, agency contractors, and other university personnel. + Maintaining filing systems and data bases, physical and electronic. + Compiling, sorting, and summarizing of data including working with the Director of Clinical Training on surveys and reports required for our Ph.D. Clinical Psychology Program. + Managing applications to the Postdoctoral Fellowship in Forensic Psychology. + Billing clients and agency contractors through various means, including Touch Net. + Operating all office equipment. + Entering data and maintaining databases for revenue, expenditures, and ongoing clinical cases. + Performing other general office and reasonably related duties.
