Other Executive Job Description Missouri Western State University (MWSU) is searching for an Executive Director of Academic Partnerships. Under the supervision of the Provost, this position will oversee all initiatives related to development and management of articulation agreements, Early College Academy (ECA), and development of the university academic schedule. The successful candidate will address academic pathways, to ensure students complete relevant university programming in an effective and efficient manner.
Essential Duties:
Oversee day-to-day operations specific to the management and leadership of all institutional articulation agreements with two-year colleges, technical schools, and other universities.
Lead development of institutional academic schedule, including ECA, undergraduate, and graduate programs.
Lead operational and enrollment management aspects of the institutional schedule to include course load, summer schedules, and enrollment based course deployment.
Provide leadership to ECA personnel, including ECA Director, ensuring K-12 partnerships, ECA courses, and all other ECA activities are operating efficiently and effectively.
Maintain compliance with policies, standards, and procedures to ensure that accreditation standards are met.
Supervise assigned staff, including full-time, part-time, or temporary staffing. Participate in their selection, training, mentoring, and evaluation.
Manage operating expenditures in compliance with established budget. Ensure effective and efficient use of resources, including staff, supplies, and equipment.
Create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners, including industry leadership panels, area school districts, two-year colleges, technical schools, four-year colleges, and other relevant entities.
Performs other duties as assigned .
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel).
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks, and delegate work or work independently to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
Ability to manage to a budget and make efficient use of available resources.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to supervise employees
