Job Description
The Richland R-IV School District is seeking a passionate, organized, and visionary Athletic Director (AD) to lead and coordinate all athletic activities and programs across the district.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree required; Master of Arts in Education preferred.
Previous coaching or administrative experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all district athletic activities and programs.
Schedule contests, confirm officials, and maintain an accurate master schedule of events.
Provide leadership that ensures a balanced, inclusive, and compliant athletic program.
Complete and maintain Title IX training and ensure full compliance with MSHSAA regulations.
Manage athletic media and communications, including game results and promotional content.
Collaborate with the Transportation Director to coordinate travel for extracurricular activities.
Administer and oversee the athletic budget and assist coaches in maintaining equipment inventory.
Supervise and evaluate all coaches and MSHSAA activity sponsors to ensure program alignment with district goals.
Act as the primary liaison to booster organizations and the broader community.
Supervise 35%-50% of athletic events, depending on coaching responsibilities.
