PREFERREDCurrent or previous work experience at Itawamba Community College or another Mississippi community college in advising, instruction, support or student services. JOB DESCRIPTIONAdvise online students and participate in professional development and events with the Advising Center. Participate in orientation and recruiting events to promote online programs and classes. Research student concerns and barriers and assist with solutions and training. Create and deliver workshops and information updates to help students best utilize technology and resources associated with online learning. Create partnership initiatives with Instructional Support to ensure online students can maximize tutoring and academic support resources. Promote best practices for online teaching and learning to actively support students and faculty using Canvas and corresponding technology tools. Assist the College with student retention and success initiatives. Assist with online course review and continuous improvement initiatives for online instruction. Coordinate with assessment centers to provide a positive student testing experience.
