Academic Admin Associate -Godbold College of 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Boiling Springs, NC The Godbold College of Business invites applications for the position of Academic Administrative Associate. This position includes the following types of work: administrative assistant, enrollment officer, and retention officer. This position will report directly to the Dean of the Godbold College of Business and will work closely with department directors, faculty, and students.
Essential Responsibilities include:
College Office Responsibilities Assist faculty, students and visitors to the GCB offices. Attend college meetings and maintain records for meetings and other departmental needs. Maintain reservations for classrooms and meeting spaces in Hamrick Hall with MRM. Assist with Board of Advisors meetings. Assist with Godbold College of Business alumni and experiential learning events. Maintain departmental databases. Supervise work-study students and graduate assistants. Assist with coordinating receptions, camps, workshops, seminars, and conferences. Maintain supplies for the GCB offices. Work with Godbold leadership team to maintain Academic Catalog updates. Assist with AMP program materials, processing and documentation. Enrollment/Retention – Graduate Business Programs Responsibilities Review checklists for all graduate programs to ensure completed file for approximately 500 candidates each year. Communicate with Directors/Dean about admissions decisions. Prepare decision letters for all business graduate programs. Assist accepted students through registration in accordance with all applicable federal and state regulations, school policies and procedures, and in compliance with all accreditation standards and requirements. Advise students on course timeline, course rotation and structure of the programs. Maintain all forms of graduate student records. Identify and notify students when grades reflect suspensions, probation, dismissal, etc. Work closely with the Registrar and Business office regarding changes in student records. Send reminder information to register for courses in the program to assist with retention numbers. Register all graduate students for all courses throughout the programs. Attend enrollment events when requested. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Dean.
