Financial Aid Student Success Navigator – (Student Affairs) 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars 1201 Elizabeth Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28204 General Function Financial Aid Student Success Navigator will support the Financial Aid division at the college by helping recruit students into high demand programs, facilitate various opportunities at the college, and guide students for employment or university transfer. To serve as an expert generalist, guiding students into and throughout a successful college experience. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Provides friendly, timely, and accurate customer service and information to students and staff. 2. Helps students navigate onboarding, registration, and college processes. 3. Assesses students’ basic needs and interests. 4. Uses a guided pathways approach to help students create or clarify productive educational and career goals. 5. Participates in a case management approach using a CRM tool to track student progress; communicates and collaborates with students, faculty and staff to ensure student learning and success. 6. Facilitates orientations and events online and at various campuses. 7. Facilitates other activities including WebEx meetings, student workshops, and staff trainings. 8. Provides general academic and student support through technology and on campuses. 9. Represents the college at events and open houses. 10. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications Associates Degree from an accredited institution and 6 months experience in a college, customer service or administrative working environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
