This 100% remote position offers $17/hr with weekly pay and benefits. Shifts available Monday-Friday, starting June 16th, 2025, until September 12th, 2025.
Job Description
Working remotely from a home office, the Student Placement Associate will support the academic placement life cycle for new students and their initial course placement. This position will report to the Supervisor of Student Placement Services as a part of the Enrollment Processing Department. The Enrollment Processing Department provides customer support, onboarding support, and academic placement support for both new students. They are accountable for delivering the right messages to the right people at the right time to grow and achieve enrollment goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Reviews academic and supporting documentation to build a thorough academic picture and ensure accurate course placement. Creates initial student schedules based on age and available information or triages to school-based staff for additional review. Completes placement and schedule change requests for enrolled students. Assists with account creation for Supplemental Instructional Support Programs and enrollment into requested Clubs & Activities. Manages their daily workflow to ensure completeness and compliance to expected service levels, including (but not limited to): Reviewing student accounts holistically to be able to speak to outstanding tasks or recommended actions to ensure the continuing student’s success, Be a subject matter expert for a group of schools, knowing intimately operational differences between the schools which drive operational processes. Organize and complete assigned workflow to ensure effective time management, accurate data integrity, efficient communication, and student retention. Maintain student accounts and records, documenting and logging information into the EMS accurately. Protects the privacy of student account information through compliance with federal student privacy law (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)).
Required Skills:
Previous experience in education/teaching or academic advising preferred. Open to experience within document review, healthcare, financial services/banking with examples of high attention to detail. Problem-solving attitude with an ability to achieve goal driven outcomes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Displays self-confidence, patience, empathy, and availability while connecting with students and families; understands and adapts quickly to multi-generational needs and characteristics.
