Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist program directors with projects and the overall running of the department, and perform other duties as assigned by program leadership (PD, APD, AD). Manage billing, invoices, and reimbursements through Workday. Assist data management, including pre-matriculation data, course grades, GPAs, and standardized test results. Manage EMS (Event Management Systems) for the department, including classroom reservations for all classes and events. Utilize PowerCampus/Wokday to register incoming and current students each semester. Assist program/committees in organizing department events (White Coat, Graduation, and Special Events). Assist in HR/Onboarding processes for department faculty and staff. Assist PA students with needs/questions (badges, parking, supplies). Serve as secretary to committees for which a member of the department is chairperson and take minutes (upon request). Track and maintain stock and order supplies for the department and submit requisitions with the Program Director’s approval. Maintain student files at the direction of the departmental leadership. Process Verification of PA Education forms, graduate credentialing requests, NCCPA registration, student memberships (AAPA/NCAPA), and letters of recommendation. Greet guests, prospective students, and perform other receptionist duties. Maintain regular office hours for the department per university policy. Alignment with the University’s mission, vision, and strategic roadmap. Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate Degree, preferably in a field related to administrative or academic administration, but will consider documented experiential qualifications with the ability to perform or master the above duties and responsibilities in place of a degree. 2 – 3 years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher) and Google Workspace Strong organizational planning skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are required. Working knowledge of Workday is preferred.
