  • Friday Primary Purpose of Position Provide reception for the Department of Counseling as well
    as serve as a public contact for both students and other on campus personnel.

To provide various administrative duties for the department.

Minimum Education/Experience Required Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

University Preferred Qualifications:

Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and one year of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience. Essential Job Duties Managing department budget faculty travel arrangements, scheduling and maintaining counseling labs, and maintaining office supplies.
Assist with course schedule building and class permitting during the academic year and summer sessions.
Support Counseling Field Placement Director with issuing permits and managing field placement paperwork.
Individual must be comfortable in a front facing setting Other Work Responsibilities Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and one year of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience.
UNC Charlotte systems experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft and Google Suite (Intermediate skills with Excel or Google Sheets preferred.
Experience with WordPress preferred.
Experience with office management (purchasing, scheduling, maintaining records preferred).
Strong attention to details needed. Necessary Licenses or Certifications Work Location Department of Counseling
