The coordinator will support the Dean of Students and the Spiritual Life Department in creating a positive, faith-centered environment conducive to student growth and well-being. This dual-role position involves administrative, analytical, logistical, and pastoral support functions, ensuring effective communication, efficient operations, and the nurturing of a vibrant Catholic school culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Support for the Dean of Students Serve as a primary point of contact for students, parents, and faculty regarding student affairs. Manage and maintain student records, attendance reports, and disciplinary documentation. Assist with student discipline procedures and communications. Coordinate logistics for student activities, assemblies, and special events. Facilitate scheduling and follow-up for student meetings with the Deans. Support the supervision of student arrival, dismissal, and transitional times as needed. Maintain confidentiality regarding student records and sensitive situations. 2. Support for the Spiritual Life Department Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating liturgies, retreats, and spiritual programs. Maintain databases for retreat participation and service programs. Communicate with students, families, faculty, clergy, and volunteers regarding spiritual life activities. Prepare materials and spaces for religious services and prayer opportunities. Support student leadership in campus ministry initiatives. Foster a welcoming and prayerful environment consistent with Catholic teachings and values.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree Strong commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with staff and students. Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, MS Teams, Zoom, Google Workspace). Comfort with importing and exporting various file types across platforms. Digital data analysis skills are crucial. Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES
Previous experience in education, ministry, or administrative support Practicing Catholic with an understanding of Catholic liturgy and traditions. Experience working with adolescents in an educational or pastoral setting. Problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain a positive, student-centered approach.
