Position:
Principal Paul School PreK to 8SAU #101- Wakefield School District is seeking applications to find the next educational leader for Paul School. The ideal candidate will have significant successful prior teaching and educational leadership experience. Paul School is comprised of grades PreK to 8 for approximately 440 students and 90 staff. Paul School continues to build a strong culture that supports students academic, social and emotional development, with a long-standing commitment to the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) model. Applicants should possess the following skills: Excellent Communication, writing, and facilitation skillsPossess an educational philosophy that will enhance the vision of Paul School, to meet the future needs of both teachers and students in their quest to be continuous learners. In depth knowledge of best instructional practices, evidence-based assessment practices, and can interpret data for the purpose of both classroom and school improvement,Ability to effectively supervise all staff and develop a culture of continuous improvement by modeling and conferring with teachers. Inspiring all staff to reach their full potential as exemplary educators, contributing to the health and success of the Paul School.
Experience with all aspects of school operations (i.e., scheduling, systems organization, professional development planning and implementation)Can develop differentiated problem-solving strategies with colleagues to address the multi-faceted needs of the teachers and students around discipline and challenging behaviors, literacy, and innovative programming for atypical learners. RequirementsAt least five years of teaching or related educational experience. Three years experience in administration is preferred.
Master’s degree in School Administration/Educational LeadershipCertified by the NH DOE as a Principal.
Strong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work as a member of a collaborative teamWorking ConditionsThis is a 260-day position, full year position.
