Job Description:
We’re looking for an Assistant Principal to join our team! Come find your purpose and make a difference in the lives of others. This position assists in supervising the overall educational and support activities and staff of the school here in our Residential & Education program. This role supervises a variety of school functions, such as support services, special activities and programs, student discipline, and curricula development. The primary responsibility of the position is to maintain the high quality of educational services. This includes the creation and maintenance of an educational environment that is safe, supportive and conducive to learning.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the management of the day to day operations.
Prepare agendas and run Staff Meetings.
Conduct Internal Investigations and review incident reports.
Document staff recognition as well as disciplinary meetings.
Supervise staff, developing and implementing programs and training and ensuring quality student outcomes.
Supervise staff including para-professionals and provide supervision to all classroom teachers.
Assist in program and staff development.
Evaluate all personnel on an annual basis (according to agency policy).
Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs and curriculum.
Interview and hire personnel as necessary in accordance with agency policy.
Maintain a working knowledge of and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and standards as they apply to educational services.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Education or related field
New Hampshire Experienced Educator License with Principal endorsement, or eligibility to be licensed
Special Education experience or certification, preferred
Three (3) years’ experience as an administrator in an educational environment, preferred
Three (3) years’ supervisory experience, preferred
Excellent communication and time management skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Hours:
Monday to Friday, Year-Round.
Compensation:
