Southside Middle School Salary scale (based on AMP union contract and degree): $120,426 – $130,949 228 Contract Days Start date: 7/1/2025
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements :
Master’s Degree in educational administration and/or equivalent as required for state certification Minimum of three (3) years of classroom experience and a minimum of three (3) full years completed as an administrator prior to the start of the school year after the hire date. Certified educators who have taught students regardless of the setting are considered to have classroom teaching experience New Hampshire Educator Certification of Principal All minimum qualifications and requirements shall be met at the time of position posting Responsibilities of the
Position :
Coordinates curriculum development, implementation and evaluation. Develops budget. Facilitates the scheduling of art, music, physical education, health education, library science, and any other school based activities. Coordinates the activities of the school’s in-service training program. Provides community involvement. Monitors the athletic and intramural programs. Hires new staff as needed (preliminary screening, initial interviews by committee and Assistant Principal). Implements the teacher evaluation program. Staff Management and Development Oversees the Special Education Program. Coordinates the student activities account Facility Maintenance and Management Administrative Reporting Health Care Administration Emergency Administration Supervisory Responsibilities –
Required Special Qualifications:
Supervises staff members designated by the Board of the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, and appropriate Central Office Administrators.
