Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and academically challenging environment where every student can thrive. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated K-8 Assistant Principal to join our small, caring charter school community.
The K-8 Assistant Principal will play a crucial role in supporting our school’s educational vision. This position involves working closely with the Principal, teachers, and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee the Responsive Classroom approach to promote a positive school climate
- Support teachers in developing and executing engaging and effective instructional strategies through coaching and professional development
- Monitor student progress and provide guidance and support where needed
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and the community
- Assist in administrative tasks and school operations
- Work collaboratively with the Principal and others in the school on student discipline.
Qualifications:
- Educational leadership experience in a K-8 setting
- Masters in Educational Leadership
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
- Passion for education and a commitment to the holistic development of students.
