JOB ANALYSIS
This position requires proficiency in the full range of general office services and functions. Under the direction of assigned supervisor, perform a variety of clerical support duties requiring an understanding of the operations, procedures; and assist in assuring smooth office operations.
REPORTS TO
Principal or Designee
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(The following are illustrative of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position and are not intended to be all-inclusive.) Completes high volume of computer data entry work, using District computer programs in an environment with constant interruptions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, and faculty to work as a cooperative member of an interdisciplinary team. Ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task.
- Knowledge of basic office equipment, troubleshoots machinery, coordinating maintenance and supply inventory.
- Ensures the confidentiality of complex and/or sensitive information, records, contracts, logs, files, and related documents.
- Displays professional behavior toward all staff, students, and parents.
- Ability to communicate effectively, listen and respond to people in a professional, effective manner.
- Additional assigned tasks such as scheduling of substitutes, scheduling of rooms and meetings.
- Knowledge of lockdown procedures, fire drills, emergency backpacks to insure a safe school environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from High School
- Some office experience
- Experience working with students in school environment desired
