District Supervisor of ELA and Social Studies Hamilton Township School District – 3.9 Township of Hamilton, NJ Job Details $129,658 – $152,900 a year 1 day ago Qualifications School experience English Master’s degree Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Working with middle schoolers Classroom experience Senior level Teaching Full Job Description Curricular Administrative Experience (preferred) Minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom teaching (particularly in at least one area of assigned subject areas) Valid (standard) instructional certificate Valid (standard) supervisory certificate Master’s Degree in Administration (preferred) Ability to analyze data and make curricular/instructional recommendations Experience with implementation of new courses/programs and curricular revisions Ability to coordinate district-wide student placement (for assigned areas) Ability to collaborate with administration regarding recruitment/hiring of instructional staff (where applicable) Knowledge of State’s initiative on Teacher Effectiveness/Evaluation Knowledge of Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching (a plus) Working Knowledge of Google Apps for Education Knowledge of NJSLS for English Language Arts and Social Studies Ability to coordinate professional development (particularly at the 6-12 level) Ability to supervise instructional staff across 3 middle schools and 3 high schools Experience with best practices in Middle School and/or High School (a plus) Ability to work collaboratively with instructional staff, building principals, and other Central Office staff
