Princiapl/Supervisor of Instruction Position Available In Ocean, New Jersey

Princiapl/Supervisor of Instruction RKS Associates Township of Jackson, NJ 08527 RKS Associates is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Principal/Supervisor of Instruction to become a member of the instructional and leadership teams. Position will work alongside the Program Directors and travel between Harbor School Eatontown, NJ, Alpha School Jackson, NJ and the Gateway School Carteret, NJ. Job responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Oversee administrative matters
• Establish and administer special programs
• Staff supervision, guidance, and evaluations
• Develop and support curriculum, instruction, professional development, and testing
• Behavior management
• Supervision of school in the absence of the principal
• Implement/apply NJDOE Special Education Code to scheduling, resource management and acquisition, and budgeting
• Creating and overseeing public relations programs and projects.
• Other duties not otherwise stated at the discretion of the Program Directors.

Requirements:

TOH or TOSD Certification required New Jersey Supervisor Certification required Principal Certifications required Special Education experience Five years’ experience as a classroom teacher required Harbor School, Alpha School and Gateway School are approved private schools for students with disabilities providing educational, vocational, and support services for student’s ages 3 to 21 serving Ocean, Monmouth, Mercer, Middlesex, Union, Hudson and other counties.
