Reporting to the Program Director to the PROSPER grant, the Student Intern Coordinator is responsible for promoting and assisting current PCCC students with internships offered through the PROSPER grant. This is a part-time, hourly position.
Example of Duties :
Assist with the development and implementation of student recruitment initiatives for internships. Help students with developing strong profiles in LinkedIn and accessing career tools like LinkedIn Learning. Work with student organizations to promote services of the PROSPER Grant. Maintain student database. Assist with the day-to-day operations of the department which includes answering phones, assisting with student issues, covering the front desk, etc. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or higher required.
Skills:
strong organizational and communication, planning, interpersonal, attention to detail, problem-solving, ability to multitask, ability to prioritize. Experience working with diverse population. Experience with career planning technology like LinkedIn and LinkedIn learning. The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
Compensation:
Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The minimum hourly pay for this position is $18.

Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.)
