The Elementary School Principal is a full-time administrator who provides leadership with supervision, instruction and the general administration of a comprehensive and equitable elementary program, maximizing the physical and social/emotional well-being of all students and staff in alignment with the District mission and strategic plan.

$100,000-$118,000, commensurate with experience

Anticipated Start Date:

August 1, 2025 General Description We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered instructional leader to serve as Principal of one of our elementary schools. The Principal will provide effective instructional leadership and manage all activities that contribute to the success of the overall educational program. Qualifications Valid and appropriate New York State administrative certification Minimum of ten years teaching and/or administrative experience preferred Demonstrated success and experience at the elementary level Deep knowledge of the Science of Reading and research-based literacy and math instruction Understanding of the NYS Learning Standards and curriculum implementation Strong knowledge of social-emotional learning and a commitment to supporting the whole child Experience with data-driven instruction, Response to Intervention (RtI), and differentiated learning Ability to manage fiscal, physical, and human resources to effectively support school programs Skilled in managing resources and leading high-impact professional learning Strong communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with staff, families, and the broader school community Ability to interpret and act upon a wide range of educational data, documents, and assessments Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead with clarity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Commitment to equity, inclusion, and academic success for all students Other qualifications as designated by the
