Summary:

The executive director at Soaring Heights School is responsible for all operations related to the employee and student experience at the school.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Is responsible for all operations of the school Upholds and enforces all operating policies, procedures, and safeguards that the Soaring Heights Schools as a division of Pyramid Healthcare, must adhere to Upholds and enforces all operating policies, procedures, and safeguards that the Soaring Heights Schools as a licensed private academic school through the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Develops and Maintains relationships for student referrals. Operates the school with financial prudence based on yearly targets for revenue and expenses Plans, develops, and administers the annual budget in coordination with VP of Operations Participates in strategic planning meetings, monthly division meetings, financial review meetings and operational specific meetings Maintains and is responsible for monthly fiscal reporting and a monthly operating report. Maintains and develops an engaged workforce. Works closely with support departments (HR, Compliance, PI, Training, Maintenance etc..) to ensure best practices are being implemented. Operates as the direct supervisor to the teachers and/or facility support staff Advises/mentors direct reports on all job responsibilities Monitoring of Special Education programming that adheres to PDE standards and policy as well as student IEPs Complete and submit in a timely manner all licensing and renewal documentation to PDE to keep the school license current. Report all enrollment information and student in the PNPE report to PDE. Monitoring of standards and policies to maintain a safe learning environment for students and staff Reviews IEPs before meetings and provides constructive feedback as needed Participates in IEP meetings Conducts formal teacher observations and evaluations Attends, guides and leads staff meetings as needed Participates in supervision meetings Main liaison for communications with families Main liaison for communication with school districts Conducts SHS tours for prospective school districts, families and professionals Audits new student referrals and initial student intakes Ensures that SHS staff follow mandated Childline reporting timelines and processes Ensures that SHS staff follow mandated timelines and processes for all safety measures Participates in external relationship development initiatives with school districts, referral sources and community partners Demonstrates and fosters a positive, open communication culture for SHS staff Responsible for interviewing and hiring for the school Maintains appropriate professional boundaries with SHS staff Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entitites. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This role is responsible for directly supervising the facility leadership team and or teachers and support staff at the school. Required Qualifications Special Education Teacher Certification or Principal Certification, Master’s degree preferred, at least 3 years in the field, previous leadership experience preferred. Work Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will require local and regional travel. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation.

$81,489.00 – $90,415.00 per year
